Transylvania is home to a lot of stories about Dracula, the famous Transfagarasan road, old saxon villages, tasty traditional dishes, and breath taking landscapes. I can guarantee you this biking trip will help you create some of the best travel experiences you’ll ever get.

Itinerariu: Care-i Planul?

For this tour, we’ll keep the itinerary light and flexible. Depending on the group’s flow and skill, we will determine the best trails together.

The saxon villages, namely Rupea, Viscri, Saschiz, Mezindorf, and Crit, are some of the oldest saxon villages in Transylvania. These are villages with a large population of German ethnicity and Germanic origin. You’ll see different architectural style, different dishes and traditions, and popular museums and castles.
The Bucegi Mountains are ideal for all mountain biking adventures, regardless of your skill. They span across three counties with the iconic Omu Peak at 2,505 m as the highest point. You’ll also be able to see the Sphinx, which is a natural rock formation that resembles a face, and the Heroe’s Cross on Caraiman Peak.
Enjoy the beautiful city of Brasov with its old architecture, lively old city center, fun pubs, and a ton of activities, museums, and shows to go to. We can also do a full-day or half-day tour on Tampa, the mountain in our backyard.
These are some of the most popular mountain resorts here in Romania and around Brasov. Here, we can visit the Bran Castle, which is said to have been Dracula’s home (or Vlad Tepes), the Cantacuzino Castle, where the TV series Wednesday was filmed, the Peles Castle, and numerous other places. Everything on mountain bikes, of course!
I’ve been pedaling these mountains for my entire life, so I know some of the sweetest, hidden gems that a lot of tourists miss. We’ll bike from mountain to mountain and check off some of the most scenic and breath taking landscapes in the Bucegi, Ciucas, Baiului, and Postavarul mountains.

Cum pot plati ski campul?
You’ll pay 50% of the tour once you book it, and the rest days before arrival in Brasov. You can pay in cash or by bank transfers.
What if I'm not available at the time of the tour?
We can customize every tour and make it suit your needs. If you have another date in mind, we can plan and make it happen. We also do tours on request, and if you have a group already, we can 100% make it happen.
How will the tour go?

The tour will take 5 days + a day for resting. The extra day you can rest, you can visit Brasov, or we can do another mountain bike tour for 50 eur/pers.

I will make sure everyone on the tour is taken care of and you’ll have the time of your life!

How do I book this tour?
Book the tour by sending us a message. You’ll want to fill out your information on this page and we’ll reach back to talk about your expectations from this tour. We’ll also have a Zoom call to plan everything and learn more about your experience and needs.
Is this an E-bike or regular MTB tour?
This is a mixed tour of both e-bikes and regular bikes. You’ll need at least 160mm of travel front and back and a reliable mountain bike that you can trust. We’ll ask for your type of bike to ensure you’re properly equipped for this trip.
How difficult will it be?
It’ll be fairly easy. There will be single track trails, forest roads, and some parts will even be asphalt roads. Depending on the group’s skill level, we’ll ride between 25 and 40 kilometers, and climb between 1,000 and 1,500 meters. We’ll ride through villages but also mountains with over 2,000m altitude.
