Itinerary: What's The Plan?

We want to pack as much fun and riding as possible! Here’s how it’ll go…

We’ll meet at the cable car in Sinaia on Dec 28th, at 9 AM sharp.

We’ll spend the day riding off-piste in Sinaia. We’ll take the cable car and do a couple of runs, and at the end of the day, we’ll hike all the way up to Cabana Caraiman to spend the night.

We’ll do a backcountry tour (ski touring) around Costila. Depending on the snow and weather, we have several options: Valea Priponului, Valea Ciobanului, Valea Sugari, Valea Obarstei. We’ll add up to 1,000m elevation. In the afternoon, we’ll have a workshop about avalache safety where we’ll focus on details about searching techniques.

We’ll ride back to Sinaia through Valea Soarelui, and we’ll ski at 2,000m and 1,400m altitude in some of the best places for ski touring.
